These terms of use govern all rights and obligations related to the use of the AkademikTR: Academic Job
Listings platform ("Platform"). By using the platform, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.
1.1 Platform Definition
AkademikTR: Academic Job Listings is a closed digital platform that shares academic job postings and provides a
messaging system for educational services. The platform includes:
- Academic Job Postings: Research assistant, lecturer, and faculty member job postings
- Educational Content: Articles, blog posts, and educational materials
- Messaging System: Communication between teacher and customer after service orders
- Order Tracking: Tracking of orders placed externally through the platform
- File Sharing: Secure file, image, video, and audio sharing
- Notification System: Real-time updates with push notifications
- Role-Based Access: Customer, Teacher, and Admin roles
2. Membership and Access
🔒 Closed System
This platform is not open to everyone. Access can only be obtained through memberships created by the
platform administrator.
2.1 Membership Creation
- Memberships are created only by the platform administrator
- Users cannot register on their own
- Each membership is created with a specific role (Customer, Teacher, Admin)
- Login credentials are provided to the user after membership creation
2.2 User Roles
- Customer: Users who receive educational services
- Teacher: Users who provide educational services
- Admin: Platform administrator
3. Messaging System
🔐 Secure Messaging
All messages are stored encrypted and can only be viewed by the relevant parties.
3.1 Messaging Rules
- Messaging can only be done between teacher-customer pairs assigned after orders
- Admin can view and monitor all messages
- Messages should only be used for order tracking and educational purposes
- Sharing personal information is prohibited
- Sharing inappropriate content is strictly prohibited
4. Academic Job Postings and Educational Content
4.1 Academic Job Notifications (Main Feature)
- Research Assistant Postings: Research assistant recruitment announcements from universities
- Lecturer Postings: Lecturer position announcements
- Faculty Member Postings: Faculty member position announcements
- Automatic Notifications: Current job postings are notified daily at 07:05
- Category Filtering: You can receive notifications based on the position types you're
interested in
5. File Sharing
5.1 Allowed File Types
- Educational Materials: PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Visual Content: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP
- Video Files: MP4, AVI, MOV
- Audio Files: MP3, WAV, AAC
5.2 File Size Limits
- Single file size: Maximum 50 MB
- Daily total upload: Maximum 200 MB
- Total storage space: 1 GB per user
6. Privacy and Security

All your data is protected by Firebase security rules. Your messages can only be viewed by you, the other
party, and the platform administrator.
6.1 Data Protection
- All data is stored encrypted
- Messages are only accessible by relevant parties
- Admin access is only for monitoring purposes
- Data is not shared with third parties
7. User Obligations
7.1 General Obligations
- Use the platform only for educational purposes
- Be respectful to other users
- Follow platform rules
- Do not provide false information
- Do not compromise platform security
7.2 Prohibited Activities
- Account sharing
- Attempting to bypass platform security systems
- Harassing other users
- Sending spam or advertisements
- Copyright infringement
- Engaging in illegal activities
